"Climate Gate" Coming To An End - Good News!

Oil giants BP PLC, ConocoPhillips, and heavy-equipment maker Caterpillar Inc. "quite an influential lobbying group that had focused on shaping climate-change legislation, in the latest sign that support for an ambitious bill is melting away."

Story Here.

Hats off to BP, ConocoPhillips, and Caterpillar! NEXT!?

Wet Work in Middle East- Mossad?

Wet Work in Middle East- Mossad? The Mahmoud al-Mabhouh Assassination.

This story is very slowly coming out, and if you are an avid reader of Tom Clancy like I am, it makes you just wonder....There is a video at the bottom of the story.

"Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, the "now dead" terrorist, was an illegal smuggler of arms for Hamas. He helped found the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades- militant wings of Hamas, and was involved in the kidnapping and murder of two Israeli soldiers, Sa'adon and Sasportas, during the first Palestinian intifada in 1989. It is also believed he was involved in smuggling arms from Sudan to Gaza in 2009.

Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was found dead on January 20, 2010 in his hotel room in Dubai..."

p.s. I agree with the author of this site that the people responsible for, in the words of Denzel Washington (Man On Fire), "arranging the meeting" between God and Mahmoud al-Mabhough should get a medal.

Water Can Freeze at Different Temps

"A study in the Feb. 5 Science reports that water can freeze at different temperatures depending on whether the surface it rests on is positively or negatively charged. Under certain conditions, water can even freeze as it heats up."

Think of how we can use this new information!!! What about keeping ice from forming on aircraft wings, car windows, roads, etc......

Wilson A. Bentley - The Snowflake Man

I ran across this website today about Wilson A. Bentley (a.k.a The Snow Flake Man). Mr. Bentley was one of the first to take pictures of snow flakes and declared that "no two snow flakes are the same."

"Under the microscope, I found that snowflakes were miracles of beauty; and it seemed a shame that this beauty should not be seen and appreciated by others. Every crystal was a masterpiece of design and no one design was ever repeated., When a snowflake melted, that design was forever lost. Just that much beauty was gone, without leaving any record behind."
